Selected Ambient Works 85–92

from £465.00

The Pantune series pays tribute to the records that have shaped our work and inspired our creativity. These albums have been more than music—they’ve been the soundtrack to countless design projects, their sleeves and sounds influencing how we see and how we make. The name Pantune is a play on Pantone, with each piece meticulously crafted from hundreds of tiny Pantone swatches. The result is a reimagining of iconic sleeve art through the lens of graphic design itself—part homage, part reinvention.

This highlight is Selected Ambient Works 85–92 by Aphex Twin, released in 1992 and fronted by the unmistakable Aphex Twin symbol. Originally designed by Paul Nicholson in collaboration with Richard D. James, the mark—drawn by hand with circle templates and rulers—has since become one of electronic music’s most enduring emblems. We’ve transformed it into a Pantune large-scale A0 print, produced in strictly limited numbers. This is both a collector’s drop and a gallery piece—a chance to own music and design history, reframed. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
