His meticulous approach to sound design has also led to acclaimed remix work for Manchester legends New Order, cementing his reputation as one of the UK's most respected yet understated electronic producers.
Dark Retreat strips everything back to its essential elements, allowing atmosphere, texture and restraint to take centre stage. Across two expansive compositions, Sensory and Autonomy, Zeiter continues his long-standing fascination with depth, repetition and sonic space. Sensory unfolds with patient, organic movement, where shifting tones and submerged rhythms gradually reveal themselves, while Autonomy retreats further inward, embracing stillness through hypnotic drones, delicate harmonic washes and a profound sense of calm. Together they form a meditative journey that rewards close listening, drawing the listener into a world where subtle changes carry the greatest emotional weight.
